The 2026 Lancers are reloading with a dangerous mix of battle-tested veterans and explosive young talent. After a 5-4 campaign and a playoff appearance, this squad has unfinished business.

The offensive line returns anchors Cannon Zubeck, a 2nd Team All-Sunflower League and Wichita Eagle All-State selection, and Colson Freeman who will pave the way for a loaded backfield. Running backs Gus Ketteler and Thomas Vanice are primed for breakout seasons, while Chase Jehle and Emmett Freeman return at wide receiver to stretch defenses.

On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Hudson Wittmer brings physicality and instinct, cornerbacks Miles McCune and Tommy Trucksess lock down the secondary, and defensive end Connor Lahue will be a force off the edge.

Adding fuel to the fire is a talented incoming freshman class headlined by running backs Bo Keller and Graham Larsen, center/defensive lineman Owen Phillips, quarterback Emmet Wittmer, and wide receiver Jake Walton. The future of Lancer Football is deep, fast, and hungry.

Install & Fundamental Drill Days

Building technique, fundamentals, and football IQ.

KSHSAA Moratorium

Mandatory vacation week — rest and recharge.

Team Camp

Full team competition and bonding experience.

Physical development throughout the summer.

Incoming freshmen and all Lancer players are strongly encouraged to attend as many summer team activities as possible. The work we put in during the summer sets the foundation for the fall season.
